After attending both Defensive Handgun and the Advanced Concealed Carry Tactics classes, I found that I gained significantly in skill and in confidence. The instructor (Dennis) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The class had a very good student to instructor ratio, so that each of us had plenty of time one-on-one to perfect our technique. I would strongly recommend these to anyone who carries a concealed weapon. |

I took this class, quite honestly just to be with my husband. I knew I wasn't the best shooter, but figured I was capable enough to handle myself in an emergency. After taking this class I realized how foolish I was. Even the small amount of stress this group situation created was enough to fluster me and cause me to loose all focus. Dennis was an excellent instructor. He was very direct and to the point, while at the same time being very patient and helpful while I learned the basics. I'm so glad that my husband asked me to take this class. I'm much more aware of my own skills, what I need to work on more and what I might be like in a tense situation. I would recommend this class to EVERYONE, especially women. |

Being a novice gun owner, I have to say these classes should be mandatory to all gun owners. Tim's instruction was the best. He was able to make me feel extremely calm and comfortable in all situations. I learned many new techniques and was able to refine what I knew from previous classes. I plan on retaking the class as I was able to get so much out of it. Thanks for such a great class. |

Fantastic course! So much great information taught in such a short amount of time. I wish I could take this course again right away. The instructors were patient with the newbies such as myself, but still pushed us to do our best. I will definitely be back for more training. |

I have attended this same class multiple times and each time I have learned something of value and something different and continue to refine the basic skills of executing the fundamentals. the changing weather conditions for each class is one of the contributing factors to increasing ability - the training goes on regardless of mother nature.
Highly recommend any of the classes from the combat-terror institute. regular guys with lots of background dedicated to teach what they know to other regular folks. I continue to take all the classes they offer to try new weapons/gear and stay in touch with developed capability. |

This course is a great hands on first step if you are a concealed carry permit holder, considering becoming one, or just want to be able to defend your home and family with a handgun. Great instruction, attention to one on one needs, and of course saftey. Dennis and his staff were top notch, teaching defensive live fire techniques that could not otherwise be practiced, learned at a public range.

I just wanted to say the course on basic riflery was great on Saturday the 23rd at 1pm. I felt very safe at all times. (great communication) Tim and Dennis are great instructors always putting safety at the top priority. I feel the staff is very educated and willing to answer all questions. Keep up the good work :) |

This class included defensive drills that we could take home and practice, excellent instruction on performing shooting drills correctly (always remembering the basics), as well as weapon retention and take-away. The force-on-force drills provided various scenarios with a solid critique of what we did wrong, right, and how we could do it better. Dennis and Pat’s respectful but no nonsense instruction gave me an increased appreciation for the importance of training, both physically and about having the proper mindset. I also now have a greater understanding of the responsibility I shoulder every time I carry concealed. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wishes to take their training to the next level. |

If you ever wanted to feel more confident about carring your handgun, this is the place! Dennis and Pat are great instructors. Although safety was key, i've never had so much fun getting this many bruises and sore muscles! By the way, i could kill you with my flashlight! Just kidding. If you ever wanted to sharpen your skills or learn more about protecting yourself and your family , don't pass up the chance to attend the Counterterrorism Institute of America. The experience will exceed your expectations. Thanks guys, I'll be back. |
